Guards up.

Hey guyssss.

The first week of school is officially over. This week was awesome, albeit exhausting and draining...

Monday and Tuesday were both busy busy busy! Spam-mugging for math repaper on Monday after dance rehearsal. Open house training/rehearsal on Tuesday to prepare for OH performance. Rushed down to meet the girls in the evening and had a good hearty laughing session! They never fail to brighten up my day hehe! <3

Open House was greaaaat, first time spending so much time with the dancers! Almost felt like i belonged, but... training took the feeling away from me. Glad i have buddies in dance to support me :D Thank youuuu, you all know who you are :)

Thursday onwards were relatively relaxed, but Andy's training on Wednesday caused me intense muscle aches up till now... OMG KILLER I SWEAR

Next week full day lessons are going to commence... Oh god i'm already so drained out this week, i wonder what degree of zombie i will become next week........

Anyway, I realised this thing about myself. I tend to hold my guards up with girls rather than guys... I have no idea why but maybe i just subconsciously feel/think all girls are judgemental and dislike me and shit. Like always skeptical about their "realness"and stuff (ironic cause I'm a girl too).

But you can't make friends with your guards up, people can sense it and they won't wanna get close to you. This leads back to the part about thinking the other person dislikes me. Which creates this vicious cycle of unhealthy overthinking :(

HOW TO STOP??? I don't wanna seem like the anti-social girl or whatever cause I'm really not...

I guess when the time comes I'll learn :)

Meanwhile, congrats to all juniors who did well for Os, and even if you did just satisfactory, don't worry because it will not dictate the rest of your life! And do consider VJC if your points are eligible!!!

VJ spirit never dies. Damn proud to be part of this Victorian spirit and this awesome cohort. #Victorianpride
